With a weight starting from 40 kg, the PhoeniX payload is a modular X-band SAR system addressing the needs of very low mass requirements of micro satellites.
The transmitted power is generated by few high power amplifiers while a slotted waveguide antenna guarantees an high efficiency with extremely low loss in terms of irradiated energy.
With a resolution up to 0.5 meter and Stripmap and Spotlight imaging mode, the PhoeniX system allows the user to generate very good quality SAR images which can address both commercial and security market needs.
