• Reports to: Technical project manager
• Job purpose: Work on the development of embedded software for satellite and airborne radar sensors and software test definition
• Location: Milan, Italy
• Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

Job Duties:

• Develop, test, and maintain C++ and Qt-based applications.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
• Debug and optimize code to improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise in production environments.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Experience with the Qt/QML framework for application development.
• Experience with build systems (e.g. Make, CMake, and custom scripts)
• Experience with multi-threading and programming in C++.
• Experience with socket programming (TCP/UDP)
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git).

Desired Skills / Qualifications

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and tools.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, etc.
• Experience with shell scripting and Linux development tools.
