  • Job purpose: Plan, coordinate, and manage the entire lifecycle of complex aerospace radar projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and quality standards agreed upon with clients (national and international) and company management.
  • Location: MetaSensing, Via Aniene 2, 20151, Milan, Italy
  • Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

MetaSensing is an innovative Italian remote sensing company founded in 2008 with the aim of commercializing the new compact, high resolution radar mapping technology.

In just a few years, MetaSensing has acquired numerous successful airborne radar campaigns completed at the Ka, Ku, X, C, S, L and P frequency bands, and developed drone and space-based radar systems for different applications.

Today MetaSensing is one of the unique companies in the world which offer cost effective airborne and space-based radar sensors and services both for commercial and security applications.

Combination of innovative technology and advanced processing techniques has made MetaSensing a fast growing, global company with projects in Europe, South-East Asia, Middle East, North and South America.

Position Description and Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team, responsible for planning, milestone/timeline management, and resource management for radar projects.

The successful candidate will progressively be involved in the following activities:

  • Planning and management of aerospace sector projects;
  • Requirements Assessment and Financial Management: Estimate, negotiate, and agree on project budgets with clients and management;
  • Team Coordination: Oversee the work of technical teams and engineers, assigning operational tasks;
  • Quality Control: Set and monitor quality standards and technical compliance for the radar product;
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical/administrative documentation and coordinate progress meetings (milestone reviews) with stakeholders;
  • Client Management: Represent the company in contractual relationships and progress reporting with institutional and private clients.

Skills and Requirements

  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and radar technologies (SAR, Airborne, and Space);
  • Knowledge of PM methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing complex technical projects, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or radar systems sector;
  • Ability to work in an international environment;
  • Autonomous and proactive individual, capable of working in a team;
  • Individual with a strong sense of responsibility and organization;
  • Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields);
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must be authorized to work in Italy.

Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours/week).
Salary Range Offered: €55,000–€60,000 gross per year.

Skills and Requirements

  • Previous experience in the aerospace, space, defense, engineering, or related sectors;
  • Established network of contacts in aerospace, aviation, technology, or business media;
  • Experience supporting product launches and integrated communication campaigns;
  • Knowledge of digital communication tools;
  • Experience creating visual content, presentations, or graphic materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications;
  • At least 5 years of experience in PR, communications, content marketing, journalism, or related roles;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written;
  • Experience managing LinkedIn, websites, press releases, and media relations;
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously;
  • Proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with technical, commercial, and managerial stakeholders.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must be authorized to work in Italy.

Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours/week).
Salary Range Offered: €35,000–€40,000 gross per year.
