L'evento ha riunito i maggiori esperti di tecnologia radar e telerilevamento per discutere dei progressi pi\u00f9 innovativi e delle loro applicazioni, con un'attenzione particolare alla ricerca sul clima e alle sue implicazioni critiche a livello globale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CRISTALair: Monitoraggio dei ghiacci polari in un clima che cambia<\/strong><br><br>CRISTALair succede ad ASIRAS (Airborne SAR\/Interferometric Radar System), che ha operato sia nell'Artico che nell'Antartico dal 2004 al 2019. Il principale miglioramento di CRISTALair risiede nella sua capacit\u00e0 di acquisire dati simultaneamente nelle bande Ku e Ka, facendo progredire il livello di prontezza scientifica (SRL) degli algoritmi e dei processi a doppia banda. Oltre al radar a doppia banda, CRISTALair integrer\u00e0 uno scanner laser aviotrasportato, una telecamera all'infrarosso a colori e apparecchiature ausiliarie per garantire un posizionamento e un orientamento precisi dell'interferometro.
