Il TRM, il pannello dell'antenna e il processore SAR di terra sono pronti per i test e l'integrazione.<\/em><\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metasensing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/file-11.png\"  ><\/figure>\n<p><em>Figura 1 : <\/em>Modulo antenna a guida d'onda scanalata dello StarSAR-X: parte anteriore.<\/p>\n<p>Alla fine del 2019, la Regione Lombardia in Italia ha assegnato il programma NOCTUA, finalizzato al monitoraggio delle infrastrutture terrestri e dei rischi naturali per mezzo di un satellite dedicato con radar ad apertura sintetica ad alta risoluzione. MetaSensing fornir\u00e0 StarSAR-X, il suo payload SAR phased array in banda X, insieme alla SAR Ground Processing Facility. Il payload SAR sar\u00e0 ospitato sulla piattaforma ION2 costruita da D-Orbits, dando vita a un mini-satellite SAR ad alte prestazioni progettato per l'interferometria differenziale a passaggi ripetuti in banda X.<\/p>\n<p>Lo StarSAR-X \u00e8 un payload SAR in banda X scalabile e flessibile, dotato di modalit\u00e0 di acquisizione Stripmap, Spotlight, ScanSAR e TopSAR. L'SSX \u00e8 dotato di un'antenna phased array dispiegabile che opera in polarizzazione verticale lineare singola, consentendo il governo elettronico del fascio sia in azimut che in elevazione e supportando le diverse modalit\u00e0 di acquisizione con capacit\u00e0 di alta risoluzione (fino a 30 cm in slant range).<\/p>\n<p>Il carico utile SSX pu\u00f2 fornire informazioni preziose per diverse applicazioni, come l'interferometria differenziale (DInSAR) per il monitoraggio delle deformazioni verticali, la generazione di modelli digitali di superficie (DSM), la sorveglianza marittima e terrestre ad alta risoluzione, la geoinformazione e la cartografia in generale.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metasensing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/file-12.png\"  ><\/figure>\n<p><em>Figura 2<\/em>: Quad-TRM sviluppato per il carico utile StarSAR-X<\/p>\n<p>Il modulo antenna consiste in un subarray a 8 file che rappresenta un quarto del pannello elettrico nominale dell'intera antenna. Per lo StarSAR-X sono state sviluppate e sono disponibili soluzioni di array a guida d'onda a fessura e a patch a microstriscia.<\/p>\n<p>Ogni modulo d'antenna \u00e8 collegato a due Quad-TRM (Transmit Receive Modules) che sono responsabili dell'amplificazione del segnale e del controllo accurato dell'ampiezza e della fase per il pilotaggio elettronico del fascio.<\/p>\n<p>La tecnologia della guida d'onda a fessura dell'antenna aumenta la capacit\u00e0 di dissipazione del calore del carico utile, migliorando la durata del satellite. La durata prevista per StarSAR-X \u00e8 di 5 anni. <\/p>\n<p>La versione finale del modulo d'antenna e il Q-TRM sono pronti per essere testati e integrati.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metasensing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/file-13.png\"  ><\/figure>\n<p><em>Figura 3: <\/em>StarSAR-X Prestazioni SAR per diverse modalit\u00e0 operative<\/p>\n<p>Lo StarSAR-X \u00e8 progettato per operare in tutte le modalit\u00e0 di acquisizione SAR convenzionali: Stripmap, Spotlight, ScanSAR e TopSAR, sfruttando appieno la capacit\u00e0 di orientare il fascio elettronico nei piani di azimut ed elevazione.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, \u00e8 programmabile una modalit\u00e0 di sorveglianza marittima ad ampio raggio per il rilevamento delle navi.<\/p>\n<p>Il dimensionamento delle modalit\u00e0 operative e dei parametri radar \u00e8 stato effettuato considerando una regione di accesso a piena prestazione nell'intervallo di angoli di incidenza compreso tra 20\u00b0 e 45\u00b0, ottenendo cos\u00ec una capacit\u00e0 di imaging flessibile in termini di risoluzione e ampiezza dell'area.<\/p>\n<p>Per la modalit\u00e0 High-Resolution spotlight si considera una regione pi\u00f9 piccola nell'intervallo di angolo incidente 30\u00b0-40\u00b0.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metasensing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/file-14.png\"  ><\/figure>\n<p><em>Figura 4: <\/em>Immagine TopSAR (in alto) sulla regione delle Ande dai dati ESA Sentinel 1A IW generati da MetaSensing Satellite SAR Processor - MSSP<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>I dati SAR acquisiti vengono elaborati dal software operativo e completamente scalabile <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metasensing-group.com\/single-post\/nvidia-gpu-hardware-accelerated-satellite-sar-processor-enters-metasensing-space-product-family\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Processore SAR satellitare MetaSensing - MSSP<\/a> che implementa un algoritmo di retroproiezione nel dominio del tempo (TDBP) ad alta precisione, accelerato dalla tecnologia delle GPU NVIDIA, che copre l'intera catena di elaborazione e calibrazione dai dati grezzi (livello 0) fino alle immagini calibrate SAR di livello 1.<\/p>\n<p>La flessibilit\u00e0 dell'algoritmo TDBP, combinata con le opzioni di configurazione personalizzabili del GSP, consente di generare stack di immagini SAR Single-Look Complex (SLC) co-registrate, gi\u00e0 geolocalizzate utilizzando un modello di elevazione digitale (DEM) esterno con fasi compensate per la topografia. Questo prodotto dovrebbe aiutare la post-elaborazione differenziale SAR, in linea con il principale obiettivo di NOCTUA che prevede lo sfruttamento delle tecniche DInSAR.<\/p>\n<p>I dati L0 dei satelliti ESA Sentinel-1 vengono utilizzati per testare e analizzare l'MSSP. <\/p>\n<p>L'MSSP \u00e8 completamente scalabile grazie all'impiego di schede GPU NVIDIA aggiuntive per l'elaborazione e la calibrazione dei dati SAR. Come benchmark, il tempo di elaborazione di un'intera immagine Sentinel-1 Stripmap SAR alla massima risoluzione con 8x Nvidia V100 richiede circa 180 secondi, mentre un TopSAR a polarizzazione singola, 3 fasci, 12 burst richiede circa 150 secondi.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/metasensing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/file-15.png\"  ><\/figure>\n<p><em>Fig. 5 -
