MetaSensing Satellite SAR Processor (MSSP) is a state-of-the-art software tool to process the Level 0 satellite SAR data and generate the satellite SAR images.
Based on the most accurate Time Domain Back Projection, the MSSP features:
- Operational processor for any Ground Segment facility of satellite SAR missions, current and future.
- Easily scriptable, with simple interfaces and databases that allow a straightforward integration into any ground segment system.
- Inherent support for every acquisition mode: Stripmap, Spotlight, ScanSAR, TopSAR, high-squint and future modes.
- Highly precise focusing and calibration thanks to the implemented Time Domain Back Projection SAR focusing kernel.
- Fully implemented in multi-GPU hardware for parallelization, portability, and straightforward upgrades to newer and faster GPU technology.
- Easy and high scalability to multiple processing platforms (cluster, multi-GPU, cloud) thanks to the GPU implementation.
- SAR processing speed requirements can be easily improved by adjusting the number of GPU cards or GPU-equipped nodes.
- MSSP is hardware-aware and able to automatically distribute tasks among any number of GPU devices present on the same machine to maximize parallelization, offering a solution that is fully scalable to the user’s needs.
- Can process SAR acquisitions of any length thanks to an advanced task planning strategy that distributes the workload among available GPUs according to their capabilities.
- Automatic generation of a co-registered and geo-referenced stack of SLC SAR images over DEM that allows obtaining the differential interferometric phase directly.
- Straightforward implementation of geometrical, polarimetric and radiometric calibrations.
- Use of state-of-the-art software and coding language.
