- Reports to: Director
- Job purpose: Design, development and testing of radar sensors
- Location: Metasensing, Via Aniene 2, Milan, Italy
- Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.
Job Duties:
- Radar design and performance analysis for spaceborne and airborne radar
- Radar system engineering
- Radar system integration and test
- Documentation of system design, integration and test
Required skills and qualifications:
Candidate must have permission to work in the EU.
- Strong knowledge of radar system principles
- Strong knowledge of RF and microwave engineering
- Understanding of RF/microwave theory (e.g. wave propagation)
- Understanding of the design process (from concept through to delivery and in-service
support) - Experience with microwave components, i.e. downconverter, LNA, filtering, amplifiers,
mixer, transmit/receive module - Ability to think logically and to decompose a problem into its component parts
- Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment
- Good communication and team-working skills
Desired Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
