Airbourne SAR
MetaSensing offers a range of ground-based and airborne radar sensors for natural and man-made hazard prevention and monitoring. We use top-level radar technology and signal processing to provide risk assessment and early warnings.
Airborne SAR application
MetaSensing develops and operates airborne SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) sensors, offering high-resolution mapping services to customers worldwide, including ESA and NASA, since 2008.
The MetaSAR has been successfully installed on Cessna 172, Cessna 182, CASA 212, Piper PA 32-R and Tecnam MMA. The sensor, including antennas, can be installed inside the fuselage, with no need for costly and time-consuming modifications to the aircraft aerodynamic design.
